This opportunity is also available in other parts of Alabama. Facility : A private company that provides medical disability examination and evaluation services to the U.
S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Opportunity :
- Willing to accept providers with sporadic availability - will be on an as-needed basis.
- Two (2) options listed above - Travel and perform exams at leased facility and / or schedule Veterans within your own practice (noted above what is allowed)
- Will bill per exam
- Initial PTSD exams, follow up PTSD exams, and other mental health exams
- DMA certification available (can get CME credits) will need to obtain once privileged if not already certified
- Own personal laptop (NO MACs)

Compensation :
- Malpractice rates must be included in rates
- Initial PTSD Exam (includes times to complete exams, submit report, including any addendums, no OT, no admin time)
- PTSD follow up and all other mental health exams (rate type : per exam 2) (includes times to complete exams, submit report, including any addendums, no OT, no admin time)
- Bonus - one time bonus for completing all required training and working first shift / exam
- Local candidates only, travel included in rates
