Driver, Mobile Medical Facility RV - Tampa, FL - Monday-Friday (Rotational Weekends, nights may be needed, & travel is required)

Basic Purpose :

The mobile medical RV driver will primarily be responsible for ensuring the safe and successful transport of RV along assigned route within the Southeast region (8 states) in preparation for health related (vaccine / testing) events.

This position requires excellent driving skills, and the ability to safely operate and maneuver a large recreational vehicle.

Additionally, knowledge of basic diagnostics required to maintain the Recreational Vehicle (RV) systems is ideal. Superior organizational and customer service skills are a must, as this role operates as the onsite liaison between event and our patient services team.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Safely and responsibly operate a recreational vehicle of up to 45-feet in length safely and efficiently.
• Organize vehicle and secure the vehicle for transport mode and set up vehicle at designated event site.
• Maintain a driving record free of all major traffic citations, including no major "at fault" vehicle accidents.
• Must know and apply safe driving techniques at all times.
• Highly customer serviced focused role requiring the ability to collaborate effectively with the public and our patient services team.
• Responsible for ensuring good operational condition of a vehicle and safety equipment prior, during and after trips.

Additional duties may include :

May need to inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure safe operation and may conduct regular maintenance, inspections, and emergency repairs.

This position will assist the Patient Service Center Real Estate manager when not attending events.

Qualifications : Education :

Education :

High school diploma / GED strongly preferred, or commensurate work experience

Work Experience :

Min of 2+ years of experience operating specialty vehicles

Experience in client facing capacity requiring superior customer service skills

Computer experience and ability to perform clerical / administrative tasks as needed

Physical and Mental Requirements :

Must be flexible as hours and days of the week (overnights may be required); schedule will vary depending on event schedule.

Ability to sit and drive for extended periods of time at any time of day or night and in any type of weather.

Ability to navigate effectively by reading maps and planning routes.

Strong customer service skills and the ability to have sound judgement in stressful situations.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Must learn and practice safe driving habits.

Technical Training or Professional Licensing

Preferred candidate will have basic diagnostic skills for Recreational Vehicle (RV) coach systems.

Strong computer skills and ability to manage clerical tasks as needed.

Other :

Valid Drivers License in good standing for the last 36 months (Reviewed annually)

Must maintain an MVR free of moving violation convictions while driving company vehicle or while on company business

Proficient computer skills
