Job Summary
Setup and package finished product in accordance with customer specifications. This includes using a pallet truck and other packaging equipment.
Other responsibilities include assisting the Machine Mailing operators in their job functions as well as contribute to daily housekeeping throughout the work area and warehouse.
Essential Functions :
Mailing operator must follow all ISO 9001 processes to assure quality and accuracy of produced products for Bolger Direct customers.
Work with all Bolger Direct departments to facilitate efficient handling to insure timely and accurate completion of requirements necessary to meet our customer requirements.
Must be able to handle multiple projects / tasks at any given time and be able to prioritize as needed.
Demonstrate positive attitude, dependability and be engaged with Managers, Supervisors, Leads and team members.
Keep work areas neat and clean for customers / visitor and in support of a safe work environment for all team members.
Must have good basic math skills.
Must support and participate in all internal training as it supports Bolger's customer expectations on compliancy certifications.
Must have the ability to use pallet jacks for material movement.
Education and Experience :
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of one year in manufacturing facility is preferred.
Ability to handle multiple task functions in a fast pace, high demand environment.
Must be self-motivated and able to take direction from numerous sources.
Must be able to trouble shoot and resolve problems independently or through others.
Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work autonomously, with little direction, and possess good organizational skills.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Majority of the day will be spent bending, reaching, lifting and walking. Moderate noise level due to operation of machinery that can be intense.
Minor workspace restrictions and moderate exposure to dirt and dust.
Working near continual rotating moving and mechanical parts.
The job is subject to interruptions and production schedule changes at times to meet customer satisfaction.
