About The Position
Job Title : Radiological Technologist Job Specialty : Computed Tomography (CT) / X-Ray Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Afternoons, 10 hours, 4 days a week Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 1 year of CT / X-Ray technologist experience License : Illinois IEMA (must be active or willing to obtain) Certifications : ARRT CT / X-Ray Certification (active) Must-Have : GE equipment experience, COVID and FLU vaccination (declinations not approved) Job Description : - Perform a variety of routine and specialized CT / X-Ray procedures.
- Maintain standards of ARRT and IEMA. - Demonstrate polite and respectful communication to all customers. - Utilize appropriate scanning protocols to showcase necessary anatomy.
- Adjust technical factors based on age-specific needs promptly. - Administer oral and / or IV contrast. - Assist physicians in procedures as needed.
- Complete documentation according to specific guidelines. - Maintain supplies, equipment, and work areas for readiness.
- Adhere to hospital policies and professional standards. - Comply with Radiation Safety and ALARA Standards. - Work with Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patient populations.
- Experience with Cerner and Change Healthcare PACS preferred. - Every other weekend work requirement. Profile Requirements : - Resume - Skills checklist (within 1 year) - Two supervisory references - Certifications (active at time of submission) - CT / X-ray ARRT License (active) - COVID and flu vaccination status (declinations not approved) This position requires a dedicated professional ready to uphold high standards of patient care and safety.
