As the Certified Fitness Trainer , you will be responsible for running the training program, creating a positive member experience and providing a friendly & beneficial level of training to Planet Fitness members & guests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Positive & Upbeat attitude!
- Creating the class schedule which includes member orientation and individual classes where programs are designed specifically for members.
- Proactively engage with members on the club floor regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on how to safely use the equipment.
- Help to promote our Judgement Free Zone®.
- Be readily available for members when classes are not in session.
- Greet members / guests as they enter and exit the club; assisting them with any questions or concerns as they check in
- Be a team player!
Qualifications :
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Punctuality & reliability is a must
- Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
- CPR / AED Certified (if not, training to be provided by Planet Fitness)
- Personal training experience preferred.
Physical Demands of the Certified Fitness Trainer role :
- Continual standing & walking during shift.
- Moving about in different positions, including lifting, bending and twisting
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
