Shift : 10 Hours; Nights 7.30p6.00am
Schedule : 40 hours per week guaranteed 4 x 10hrshifts per week MonThursday Every other weekend (Fri.Sat 7.30 pm7.30 am)

Education License and CertificationRequirements :
- ARRT Certification (Must be CT Certified)Required

JobDescription :
- Accurate image identification including documentation inpatient records (Charts) of proper consents orders and screeningforms.
- Determines portion of body to be imagedand properly positions the most suitable body position for theimages.
- Follow proper policy and protocol forprocedures as outlined in protocol guides and hospitalpolicy.
- Keeps work area neat and cleanMaintains equipment by routine cleaning and operationschecks.
- Performs exams by setting adjustingmanipulating and controlling department specificequipment.
- Positions patients and various bodyparts for radiologic exams.
- Uses propercollimation and patient shielding.
- Processesimages to PACS system Produces technically excellentimages.
- Utilizes ALARA principles to reduceradiation exposure to staff members and patients.
- Utilizes Hospital Information System (HIS) to obtainpatient information verify orders complete charges and processstudies.
- Utilizes proper safety techniques toscan patients and provide excellent quality imaging.
