MarginEdge is looking for a Senior Product Manager to deliver amazing software and world-class service to the restaurant industry.
We serve owners and operators of independent restaurants to streamline their operations, save time and money, and allow them to focus on food and hospitality (and not paperwork).
Our goal is that a restaurant can pay any vendor through a MarginEdge payment product and that their AP process can be 100% automated.

As the Senior Product Manager for Payments, you will work with restaurant operators, accountants, cross-functional partners, and engineers to solve real customer problems.
You will release new features that streamline and automate how operators pay their vendors, manage their cash flow, and run a financially healthy restaurant.
You will own the strategy and roadmap for new payments products, blending customer insights and company strategy to meet our business objectives.
You will be a highly visible leader in the company, owning a set of KPIs and being the face of your product internally and externally.
What type of responsibilities will I have?
- Develop requirements and mockups, translating customer needs into actionable solutions. Represent the voice-of-customer in all conversations when evaluating priority and implementation.
- Partner with go-to-market teams to rollout features that drive desired outcomes. Gather feedback on feature adoption as it occurs.
- Own the roadmap for your team(s). Build consensus on the most important problems to solve and the order to solve them. Monitor the impact of product efforts on key outcomes.
- Be a key contributor to product strategy discussions and define the product vision for your area. Base recommendations on company goals, user problems, user data, and product knowledge.
- Serve as the product expert for your area. Triage feature requests and product questions from all sources.
- Explore novel solutions or ideas for improvements to the product for further validation and potential development.
- Be an active participant in the SDLC and contribute to high-quality delivery. Work with developers to refine the feature, optimizing customer value with feasibility.
What qualifications or skills are required?
- 5+ years in product management or a related role.
- Fintech experience with payments, procure to pay, credit / debit cards, money movement and / or AP automation tools.
- Experience establishing prioritization across competing priorities, optimizing for customer and business outcomes.
- Proficient in making data-driven decisions, including analyzing data and selecting the right data to analyze.
- Demonstrated ability to have user empathy and focus on problem-solving from their perspectives.
- History of leading and launching large projects across multiple months / quarters with a high level of autonomy and successful outcomes.
- Stellar collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
