About The Position
Job Title : MRI Technologist Job Specialty : Radiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 8-hour nights, weekends Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Yes Certifications : ARRT, BLS Must-Have : Siemens MRI experience preferred Job Description : The position involves working in a Radiology department as an MRI Technologist.
- Primary responsibilities include performing imaging studies, primarily head, abdomen, and pelvis, in an MRI Mobile Unit.
- Tasks do not involve assisting with procedures or starting IVs.- Shifts are managed by the department manager with 8-hour night shifts including weekends.
- Applicants should be flexible and adaptable to meet department needs.- Self-scheduling and block scheduling are not mentioned;
manager schedules shifts.- Experience with Centricity for tracking and EpicCare for charting is advantageous.- Must wear ceil blue scrubs.
Scrubs are not provided but are available as needed.- A tour of the unit and one week of training is part of department-specific orientation.
- Applicants should be open-minded and willing to work according to department requirements.- No call or standby duty; no on-site radiologist during night shifts, as work is sent externally.
- Radiology Lead Technician available 24 / 7 for supervision.
