Paramedic Emergency PRN NightsWe’re looking for a Paramedic PRN to join our team. Is that you?Work location : Texas Health Rockwall 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032Work hours : PRN as needed variable nights 7pm-7am including weekendsThis position does not include medical benefits.

Here’s What You Need· High School Diploma or Equivalent required· 3 months paramedic experience or completion of a paramedic internship required· 1 year experience paramedic experience in EMS or fire department preferred· EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic upon hire required or· LP - Licensed Paramedic upon hire required or· ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days within hire and· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and· PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of hire required and· CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually· Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced environment, positive interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication skills, able to perform basic computer skills.

• Provides safe patient care under the delegation of appropriate Physician and competency sign-off.· Communicates and collaborates with all members of the health care team;
• incorporates and participates in adopted communication tools; promotes a cost-effective team by judicious use of resources;
• leads by example by giving priority to doing the right thing for patient care; adapts to changes in workload; demonstrates flexibility related to patient needs, staffing and patient acuity;

demonstrates the ability to respectfully listen to others' opinions; collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to promote safe individualized care.
