Maintenance Technician (1st Shift)
Badger State Staffing has multiple Maintenance Technician positions open on first shift. These are full-time, direct hire opportunities that offer a competitive compensation and benefits package.
In this role, you will be responsible for various duties essential to the operation of an agricultural waste management and resource recovery facility that utilizes mechanical, chemical, and biological systems for processing.
Duties :
- Responsible for a variety of process and quality control related duties including sampling, testing, and documenting various gases, liquids, and solids.
- Operate motor vehicles, aerial lifts, and material handling equipment such as forklifts and skid steers.
- Manage parts procurement, logistics, and recordkeeping at the assigned facility and utilize CMMS, purchasing, and inventory management systems.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Shift Requirements : Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3 : 30 PM. This will include participating in an on-call rotation and may require work outside of regular business hours.
On-call Technicians must live within a 45-minute drive of their assigned facility. The position requires both office work and field work.
Qualifications :
- Eligible applicants must live within a 45-minute drive from Kaukauna due to supporting an on-call schedule
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in an applicable field (e.g., industrial maintenance, wastewater treatment, gas or oil, ethanol or chemical production, etc.)
- Must be comfortable working on mobile elevated work platforms and scissor lifts, and operating utility vehicles such as a skid steer, loader, forklift, and UTV
- Experience and certifications in critical industrial safety practices are highly desired including Hot Work, Elevated Work, Confined Space Entry, Safe Electrical Work (up to 480VAC), and Lockout / Tagout
