About The Position
Job Title : Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - Certified Job Specialty : Centralized Infusion Services Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 8 (8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Two years of pharmacy technician experience;
office and administrative experience preferred License : Registration with the state Board of Pharmacy is required. Certifications : Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certified Must-Have : High School Diploma or Equivalency Job Description : Input referrals from external sources and internal personnel.
- Collaborate closely with Home Care Coordinators and the Infusion RN Scheduler for admitting new patients.- Verify patients' benefits accurately and alert the authorization team when authorization is required.
- Relay clinical and logistical information to the Team Pharmacists, Customer Service Representatives, and Clinical Technicians for new patient referrals.
- Handle tasks related to working with Part D PDP payers, requiring Pharmacy Technician licensure.
