What you'll gain : As a

As a

Materials / Logistics Management Intern, you will gain valuable knowledge and

experience in the field through hands-on activities, coaching, and projects. A

few learning opportunities include :

Inventory Management : Assisting in the management and optimization of inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials.

Supply Chain Coordination : Supporting the coordination of supply chain activities, including procurement, transportation, and warehousing.

Logistics Planning : Developing and implementing logistics plans to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods.

Data Analysis : Analyzing data to track inventory levels, monitor performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.

Supplier Relations : Communicating with suppliers to manage orders, track deliveries, and resolve issues.

Process Improvement : Identifying opportunities for process improvements and supporting initiatives to enhance logistics and materials management.

Documentation : Maintaining accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics operations.

Collaboration : Working with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

What you need to be successful :

Education :

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a field related to the internship

Minimum GPA requirement of a 3.0

Skills :

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Basic project management or organizational skills.

Personal Attributes :

Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part

of a team.

Willingness to learn and take initiative.

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Positive attitude and adaptability to new challenges.

Availability :

Willingness to commit to the internship duration, typically 10-12

weeks for a summer internship.

Ability to work in the location where the internship is offered.
