POSITION SUMMARY :

Collaborate with the Vice President, Special Projects to produce captivating events and experiences for pop-up events and sponsorship opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :

  • Vendor procurement & management
  • Creation and management of production timelines
  • Ensuring sponsorship deliverables are incorporated within events
  • Generating CAD drawings, fabrication mock-ups for internal and partner approvals
  • Overseeing load-in / load-out procedures for all events
  • Participating in vendor and partner walkthroughs when necessary
  • Ensuring overall event quality and managing any necessary last-minute changes
  • Work with Special Projects Event Manager on accounting and payment management with vendors for sponsorship deliverables.

Additionally, compose comprehensive summaries of sponsorship activations, covering production, PR, and social media CRMs.

Assist and / or complete additional tasks as assigned

EDUCATION / WORKING KNOWLEDGE :

  • 2-4 years of onsite event and / or agency experience
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering outputs of the highest quality
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, demonstrating tact and assertiveness, and the ability to engage effectively at all levels within a complex environment
  • Possesses strong entrepreneurial skills
  • Motivated by the opportunity to support Tao Group Hospitality's missions and core values
  • Capable of working with senior contacts and coordinating activities of staff and contributors both internally and externally
  • Skillful in approaching challenges constructively and finding creative solutions
  • Dedicated to promoting equal opportunities
  • Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, POS systems, Oracle knowledge preferred
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite and CAD knowledge preferred
  • 21+ years of age
