Medical Scribe / Medical Assistant - Mobile Vaccination Clinical Teams

Brief Overview : We are seeking per diem Medical Scribes to assist us in our mobile healthcare efforts in counties across Arizona.

No long-distance travel is necessary, but you will receive additional compensation, such as mileage reimbursement and travel per diem, for traveling longer distances within the state.

As part of the Mobile Vaccination Clinical Teams operations, Medical Scribes will be responsible for documenting patient encounters, assisting with data entry, and ensuring accurate medical records.

These vaccines are provided at various at public health sites, public schools, and community settings throughout Arizona.

Operational duties include administering COVID-19 vaccines, medical consultation, occasional blood pressure and blood glucose checks, and collaboration with team members and partner agencies.

All applicants must have prior experience in a healthcare setting and be proficient in medical terminology and documentation.

Schedule :

  • Per Diem, varying depending on the assignment.
  • You will receive a schedule of available clinics on a weekly basis and can choose clinics that fit into your schedule.

Location :

Coconino, Gila, Maricopa, Pima, and Pinal Counties (long distance travel is optional)

What You'll Do :

  • Document patient encounters and medical procedures.
  • Input patient data into the Arizona State Immunization Information System.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all medical documentation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate patient care.
  • Maintain professional workspaces in accordance with SOPs and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with site set-up and tear-down each day.

Requirements :

  • 1+ year of experience as a Medical Scribe or similar role in a healthcare setting (preferred).
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation.
  • Empathy, compassion, dependability, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Basic computer skills and technical savviness.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
