Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Handle real estate litigation matters, including commercial foreclosure and receiverships.
  • Represent clients in lender liability claims and other real estate disputes.
  • Provide legal advice on commercial finance and CMBS transactions.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare detailed written analyses and reports.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Negotiate and resolve disputes related to real estate and capital markets.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop effective legal strategies.
  • Stay updated on developments in real estate law and capital markets.

Requirements :

  • 4-6 years of experience in real estate litigation, with a focus on commercial foreclosure, receiverships, and lender liability claims.
  • Familiarity with commercial finance and CMBS transactions.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Bar admission in New York.

Education :

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications :

Admission to the New York State Bar.
