Bar admission in New York is required.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Handle real estate litigation matters, including commercial foreclosure and receiverships.
- Represent clients in lender liability claims and other real estate disputes.
- Provide legal advice on commercial finance and CMBS transactions.
- Conduct legal research and prepare detailed written analyses and reports.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Negotiate and resolve disputes related to real estate and capital markets.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop effective legal strategies.
- Stay updated on developments in real estate law and capital markets.
Requirements :
- 4-6 years of experience in real estate litigation, with a focus on commercial foreclosure, receiverships, and lender liability claims.
- Familiarity with commercial finance and CMBS transactions.
- Strong academic background.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Bar admission in New York.
Education :
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications :
Admission to the New York State Bar.
