Job Title : Construction Project Manager - Water Treatment Plant

Position Overview : As a Construction Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of water treatment plant construction projects from conception to completion.

You will collaborate closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of water treatment plant construction projects.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize productivity and minimize costs.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met and quality standards are upheld.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, and implement corrective actions as needed to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
  • Oversee adherence to safety protocols and compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Cultivate a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing water treatment plant construction projects, preferably within a general contracting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and best practices related to water treatment plant construction.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and the capacity to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is advantageous.
