CopperState Fire Protection, a Pye-Barker company, is currently hiring for a Fire Alarm Service Technician in our Phoenix, Arizona branch.
Position Summary : Fire Service Technicians are responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service and preventative maintenance on electrical, sprinkler and / or suppression fire alarm systems.
Technicians will be working with low voltage wiring and associated devices for the operation of low voltage equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Conducting service calls for commercial customers
- Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers fire protection and suppression equipment
- Prepare accurate and timely service tickets and reports
- Ensure a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication
- System testing and inspecting to the prescribed NFPA standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on and off-site
- Interface successfully with Administration, Sales, Customers, and Management
- Has excellent attendance and punctuality
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Required Skills :
- High School Diploma / GED
- 1-2 years prior experience in inspections, field service, and / or installation required
- NICET and / or CSA Certification is preferred
- Ability to install, inspect, program, or service fire alarm, fire suppression, and or fire sprinkler systems
- Exemplary customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers
- Strong time management skills
- Basic computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Must speak English
- Must have clean driving record and a valid Driver's License
