TEST AND BALANCE TECHNICIAN

Summary of Job :

Technician working on a team delivering the successful completion of a Test and Balance project.

Education and Experience :

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 3-5 years experience preferred

Skills and Abilities :

• TAB Math Advanced knowledge of math formulas as it relates to TAB
• VFD Ability to configure and troubleshoot VFDs
• Blueprints Basic understanding of blueprints
• Hydronic Systems Understanding of chilled, condenser and hot water systems
• Air Systems Understanding of variable and constant volume air side applications
• Software Understanding of Siemens, Trane, Honeywell and TAB reporting software
• Manpower Ability to task and plan manpower and projects
• Problem Solving Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions;

Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics

Technical Skills Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills;
