Job Summary
The Program Manager will assist VA in the execution of targeted program goals, responsible for the overall work performed for all assigned contractors and deliverables listed as designated for three warehouse locations.
PM will have overall responsibility for all reporting, administrative, and HR actions to include but not limited to resume review, hiring actions, disciplinary actions, reporting, direct communication, and reporting between the parties to the contract on the VA warehouse sites.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall work performed by all assigned contractors and deliverables for all three warehouse locations.
Responsible for all reporting, administrative, and HR actions, including but not limited to resume review, hiring actions, disciplinary actions, reporting, direct communication, and reporting between the parties to the contract on the VA warehouse sites.
Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, and action plans that meet the DLS and SDC standards for productivity, quality assurance and customer service.
Meet regularly with government supervisory warehouse team(s) to analyze productivity, including quality assurance, inventory control, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, receiving and order fulfillment.
Work with government personnel to adjust staffing levels and / or work procedures to accommodate resources allocated to operate warehouse operations.
Maintain current and accurate files and records and prepares periodic and special reports.
Weekly Production Report : The On-Site Program Manager shall validate all work performed by signing off on production summary documents.
Responsible to ensure that all contract staff are up to date and compliant with all necessary and required VA Trainings as well as required certifications for operating warehouse equipment.
Provide a summary of duties performed / accomplishments for each employee by close of business the last duty day of each week.
The report shall detail the number of orders and items shipped by warehouse.
Each warehouse report shall specify the orders and items shipped by commodity and type of order, completed in excel spreadsheet.
Comply with government policies and legal guidelines, and help to maintain a safe, orderly work environment and meet performance standards for production and quality assurance.

Education and Experience
Education : Masters -OR- Project / Program Management Certification
Experience : 10 Years experience supporting a large corporation or government agency. including planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out programs in support of an integrated supply chain distribution system.
Strong knowledge and experience in inventory management, logistics, supply chain operations and receipt of goods, storage, order fulfillment and distribution / shipping.
Strong decision-making skills.
Proficient in the following : inventory software and systems; Microsoft Windows 10; Microsoft Office 2010 or later; data entry; and typing.
Successful candidates will require a Tier 1 Background Investigation
