00 Job Summary Assumes responsibility for providing confidential assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic services, including individual and group counseling / psychotherapy and crisis intervention services.

Develops individual client therapy plans. Participates in the supervision of interns / practicum students; designs and conducts developmental and outreach activities that will facilitate student growth.

Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills. Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
• Experience as a counselor to adults and / or young adults.
• Licensure as a social worker, counselor, or marriage and family therapist in Ohio. OR licensed out of state with eligibility for licensure in Ohio.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with a college student population or working in a university / college counseling center. Experience and interest in working with diverse clients.
• Experience with short-term therapy and outreach or prevention work.
• Experience in crisis response or urgent appointments.
• Ability to collaborate collegially with a multidisciplinary staff, both within the Counseling Center and throughout the CSU community.
• Ability to effectively utilize an electronic medical records system.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
