The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in electrical design and engineering and experience in solar, data centers, automation, energy storage, controls, and project management.
The Chief Engineer will also be responsible for developing and managing relationships with vendors and partners to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
To ensure the highest quality results, the position requires regular communication and collaboration with other departments and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage internal & external teams & vendors on various projectsScheduling & budgetingRead & review engineering plans Develop and implement strategies to design, develop, and manage solar, electrical, and data center projectsCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful completion of projectsCollaborate with other departments to achieve desired outcomesProvide technical expertise and guidance to team membersEnsure compliance with all applicable codes and regulationsStay apprised of industry best practices and standardsQualifications : 6+ years of experience in solar, electrical, and data center engineeringData center experience - Building / designingCooling systems experience DC power / high voltage (850v) experience Solar engineering / designing or implementing Construction project management experienceSCADA systems familiarity Knowledge of control / automation software : C, Java, PythonBachelors Degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related fieldAbility to travel a 1 week every 3 weeks to project site if not relocating Benefits- Salary up to 200k D.
