Data Scientist - Enterprise Data & Analytics - Sioux Falls

Job Summary

Responsible for supporting all areas of the enterprise to identify, coordinate and work in projects that provide potential opportunities to the business by analyzing and manipulating data.

These high-profile projects will require a culmination of experience in data analysis, machine learning, and data presentation.

Will be required to evaluate the proposed project, create an application that provides pertinent information and be able to provide an actionable output;

requiring attention to detail and critical thinking, ensuring the highest of data integrity while providing state-of-the-art innovations to the stakeholders.

Must have the ability to learn the business to the extent of being able to identify potential opportunities prior to them being requested and providing adequate explanation of the output and benefit of the application to the stakeholder's business case.

Product and / or coordinate data research, reporting, analyzing of data and integration of data. Lead in the interpretation of complex business data and formulate meaningful recommendations.

Create new data sources through external and unstructured sources. Promote data integrity and confidentiality of data when sharing with users.

Ensure translation of data-driven insights into decisions and actions.

Summarizes and explains data in an effective, useful and understandable manner with effective story-telling skills. Present data and information in a manner suitable to those receiving it.

Openly accept and respond to questions and challenges to the data. Translate complex data situations into appropriate data and system terminology and specifications.

Communicates results and suggests further courses of action. Able to expertly discuss the possible opportunities for leveraging applicable data and possible applications for the purpose of solving a business problem.

Consistently demonstrates ability to integrate and maintain databases. Demonstrates ability with computer science fundamentals, SQL, scripting language (e.

g. Python) and statistical computing packages (e.g R.) Ability to work with multiple languages to complete complex tasks.

Knowledge of a variety of machine learning and Optimization techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, NLP, MILP, etc.

Qualifications

Master's degree in data science, computer science, statistics or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) related

majors required.

Minimum 2 years experience working with Healthcare Data Analytics.
