Atlantic Health System is seeking a part time Patient Care Technician for the 4 East Unit at Chilton Medical Center. This is the 7PM - 7AM shift, including every other weekend.
- Essential Functions : Assisting patients with activities of daily living; obtaining and recording vital signs, weights and heights;
- assisting patients with mobility : ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activities; performing post mortem care; measuring and recording I & O;
- performing EKG's, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoring; observing and reporting changes in patients’ condition to the RN;
maintaining phlebotomy equipment and inventory and all other duties as assigned. Ensure patient needs and expectations are met in a timely manner.
