Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists to implement treatment plans and interventions designed to address speech, language, and munication goals.
- Assist in conducting assessments and evaluations to gather relevant information about students' speech and language abilities.
- Provide individual or group therapy sessions to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Implement various therapeutic techniques and exercises to improve speech production, articulation, language prehension, and expressive language skills.
- Help students develop and enhance social munication skills.
- Teach students and their family strategies and techniques to improve munication outside of therapy sessions.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in munication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) from a recognized certifying organization.
- Previous experience working with individuals with munication disorders is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written munication skills.
