Responsibilities :
- Conduct consultations with patients to understand their physical condition and symptoms
- Evaluate movement dysfunction and create personalized treatment plans
- Educate patients on proper techniques for therapeutic exercises
- Administer stimulation or massage to support healing
- Assist patients in utilizing equipment like wheelchairs or walkers
- Maintain accurate patient records and monitor progress towards goals
- Advise patients and their families on in-home treatment options and exercises
Qualifications :
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Active state licensure in physical therapy
- At least 1 year of experience as a physical therapist
- Preferably 1 year of experience as a physical therapist in a home health setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor
