JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
Department : Observation Unit
Shift timing : 19 : 00-07 : 30 Hours Monday to Friday (3 Days / 12 Hours)
Per Week : 36 Hours.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- EOW, EOH; Telemetry background required; at least 1.5 yrs of med / surg experience; No artificial / acrylic nails and nails must be short (
- BLS and ACLS
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong technical skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Passionate about patient care
- Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Med / Surg Telemetry experience.
- Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
- Active unencumbered RN Wisconsin state license
- One year of Cerner experience
