Position Overview :

KeyStaff Professionals is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager / Estimator to join a reputable company based in Fargo, ND.

This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in commercial roofing and estimating. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading project management activities, including estimating, ordering materials, and coordinating job crews to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Estimation : Accurately prepare cost estimates for commercial roofing projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.

Review project specifications and develop comprehensive project scopes.

• Job Scheduling and Coordination : Organize and coordinate job crews, including installers and general labor workers, to maintain project timelines and ensure efficient workflow.
• Material Management : Order and manage materials and equipment necessary for project execution. Maintain inventory levels and ensure timely delivery to job sites.
• Project Oversight : Oversee the day-to-day operations of roofing projects, ensuring quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project deadlines.
• Client Relations : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong communication to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns or changes in project scope.
• Budget Management : Monitor project costs and budgets to prevent overruns. Provide regular financial updates and reports to senior management.
• Team Leadership : Mentor and guide junior staff, including estimators and project coordinators, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Safety and Compliance : Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Conduct safety audits and implement corrective measures as needed.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roofing with expertise in project estimation and management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of completing projects on time and within budget.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client and team interaction.
• Proficiency in project management software and estimating tools.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a small office environment and adapt to changing priorities.
