Job Title : Packager, $18

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our Packaging department. Your role will involve basic packaging, kitting, boxing, operating a machine to print barcodes on products, and shipping duties. You will prepare products, such as rolls of barcode stickers, for customer delivery. This position requires working in a Cleanroom where hairnets and gowns are worn. Strong attention to detail is essential for quality assurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic packaging, kitting, and boxing tasks.
• Operate a machine to print barcodes on products.
• Assist in shipping duties and product preparation.
• Engage in shrink-wrapping and basic production labor.
• Maintain quality assurance by paying strong attention to detail.
• Meet quota numbers for rolls packaged, with a training expectation of 300 rolls and a regular employee goal of 400 rolls per shift.

Work Environment

Work in a very nice, clean, smaller printing company with a supportive culture that encourages idea sharing for lean manufacturing. The facility recently underwent construction to provide more natural light and an open floor concept. The work schedule is from 6am to 3pm, Monday through Thursday, and 6am to 12pm on Friday, with overtime starting at 4am. The dress code is casual, requiring a t-shirt or sweater, long pants, and closed-toed shoes. Employees are provided with company-branded water bottles and t-shirts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 / hr.
