Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in managing the flow of materials within our large aerospace manufacturing environment.

Your main responsibilities will include verifying paperwork, work orders, shipping instructions, and kitting. This position requires a strong background in material handling and experience with FedEx and UPS.

Proficiency in computer usage and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Verify paperwork, work orders, and shipping instructions.
• Perform kitting operations.
• Operate and train others on forklift usage.
• Utilize pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
• Execute shipping and receiving tasks including packing and unpacking orders.
• Handle data entry and inventory management using SAP.
• Pick, pack, and assemble orders on the assembly line.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of experience with FedEx and UPS.
• Proficiency in computer usage.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to operate and train on forklift equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with pallet jacks.
• Knowledge of SAP for inventory management.
• Skills in data entry, packing, and general production.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, and material handling.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at a large aerospace manufacturing facility. Candidates should be prepared to stand for the entire shift and work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and precision are critical.
