Job Title : Material Handler
Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in managing the flow of materials within our large aerospace manufacturing environment.
Your main responsibilities will include verifying paperwork, work orders, shipping instructions, and kitting. This position requires a strong background in material handling and experience with FedEx and UPS.
Proficiency in computer usage and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Verify paperwork, work orders, and shipping instructions.
- Perform kitting operations.
- Operate and train others on forklift usage.
- Utilize pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Execute shipping and receiving tasks including packing and unpacking orders.
- Handle data entry and inventory management using SAP.
- Pick, pack, and assemble orders on the assembly line.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of experience with FedEx and UPS.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to operate and train on forklift equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with pallet jacks.
- Knowledge of SAP for inventory management.
- Skills in data entry, packing, and general production.
- Experience in shipping, receiving, and material handling.
