Airframe Structural Analysis Engineer
Profile
- 5 to 12 years in airframe stress analysis.
- Software Must have proficiency with CATIA V5 / V6 / 3DX. Experience with NASTRAN is essential (must be visible on the resume).
- Analytical
- Proficiency in Mathcad, MATLAB, Python, Excel Visual Basic, etc.
- Working knowledge of GDandT requirements preferred.
- PLM Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) software such as ENOVIA is beneficial.
- Engineering
- Proficiency in engineering design definition, including 2D / 3D modeling, requirement capture, and specification development.
- Product development and detailed finite element analysis (FEA) experience with various materials including metallics, composites, structural castings, etc.
- Pre / Post-Processor
- Experience with at least one analysis pre / post-processor (e.g., PATRAN, HyperWorks, Femap) is required.
- Office
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Bachelors degree in engineering required; Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering preferred. Masters degree in engineering as described above is preferred.
Key Tool
CATIA V5 / V6 / 3DX is the essential tool required for this opportunity.
