WHAT WE'RE DOING

The Ground Based Air Surveillance (GBAS) market segment supports the development, production, delivery, and aftermarket support of all FPS-117, TPS-77, and MRR radar systems.

THE WORK

  • The primary responsibility of this role is to manage international radar programs from contract award through system sell off and aftermarket support.
  • This role has P&L responsibility for delivering on all contractual and financial commitments. The program manager will also work closely with business development to grow the overall portfolio and ensure that customer expectations are met.
  • The program manager will work closely with operations and supply chain to ensure programs are executable and with other sustainment program managers to ensure alignment across the wide customer base.
  • The position will require a broad interface with multiple disciplines including capture management, business development, global sustainment, engineering, supply chain, operations, fleet management, field service representatives, logistics support, and technical publications.
  • Some travel will be required as needed

  • Relationship building skills are essential for this role and the ability to build strong relationships across various cultural boundaries will be critical to success.

  • Experience with Program and Capture Management (proposal prep, INAR, EPP, and / or negotiations)
  • Strong problem solving skills, with experience in root cause / corrective action
  • Experience in risk identification and management
  • Proven ability to work multiple, high-priority tasks in parallel with minimal direction
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written) and successful experience with executive level presentations
  • Experience working with suppliers and subcontract management

Ability to Work Remotely : Part-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate :

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $123,500 - $236,800 .

  • Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees : accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons;
  • receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually;

receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
