ability to direct others Job Description : Urgent position with a sign-on bonus offered- ICU Registered Nurse will prescribe and coordinate professional nursing care for assigned patients- Responsible for continuity of care across different shifts- Maintain satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units- Participate in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and policy upgrades- Must have experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and be able to operate Allscripts Paragon- Expected to read vital signs and provide injections / vaccinations- Willingness to float as needed across different units- 2-bed unit with a step-down nursing position that may float to Med-Surg and regular ICU- Patient ratio of 2 : 1- Under general supervision, plan, direct, and evaluate total nursing care and functions- Participate in skills upgrades and maintenance of nursing standards as per the ANA- Orientation includes 4 to 6 weeks of hands-on training before going on the floor- Unit tour provided during the interview- Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life insurance, optional supplementary life insurance, disability insurance, accident and critical illness insurance, identity theft insurance, retirement plan, and tuition reimbursement
