Project Manager

We are hiring a Project Manager!

Goodsmith is a full-time home maintenance and repair company looking for highly skilled, professional, and detail-oriented team leaders.

This is a full-time, salaried position. The salary for the position is $80,000 to $100,000 per year.

Goodsmith will provide :

• Company vehicle, cell phone, computer, and tablet (if necessary)
• 7 : 00am 5 : 30pm Monday-Friday work hours; weekends off except for emergencies
• Up to 10 days of paid time off per year
• Paid holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, etc.)
• Assigned co-manager to facilitate customer engagement and scheduling on behalf of your team

Daily responsibilities include :

• Lead a team of up to 8 technicians across any one of Goodsmith’s service divisions (e.g. handyman, mechanical, cleaning / maintenance)
• Ensure timely and prepared dispatch of your team every morning
• Ensure a smooth flow of daily operations, including time management, quality of service, etc.
• Conduct daily management meetings to review prior day and next day scheduled activity
• Manage procurement needs of inventory and specialty items on behalf of your team
• Manage a small fleet of up to 9 vehicles (including your own) focused on cleanliness, organization, inventory, and service
• Ensure all completed jobs are properly reviewed and / or prepared for billing
• Clearly communicate with customers and team throughout the day
• Offer the best customer service in the industry at every job, every day
• Follow all Goodsmith rules and procedures outlined in the company handbook

Requirements

• Bachelors degree
• 5+ years of management experience in home building (custom home experience preferred)
• 3+ years of direct customer service experience (when you were responsible for one-on-one communication with customers)
• Ability to problem solve issues that arise from the field with and on behalf of your team
• Ability to complete accurate and timely estimates of user generated requests on behalf of your service department
• Available for a rotating on-call schedule (after hours, weekends, holidays) for emergencies
• An exceptional eye for detail, including site prep, execution, and clean up, and the ability to motivate your team to perform at the highest levels of quality and service
• Willing to complete an FBI background check and drug test
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
