Job Overview :

The team's goal from an investment product management perspective is to enhance our advisors' and investors' experience while helping to improve our firm's economic and risk profiles.

This Senior Analyst Investment Product Management role primarily focuses on our mutual fund and ETF offering and is essential to the overall investment and advisory product strategy.

Responsibilities :

  • Support business-to-business interactions between LPL Financial and mutual fund and ETF companies.
  • Analyze the corporate and economic relationships between LPL and our Strategic Partners.
  • Interact with internal (i.e., financial advisors, other team members, senior leadership, etc.) and external (i.e., product sponsors, industry peers, etc.

  • Develop an understanding of how investment offerings and advisory platforms serve different advisor models and clearly articulate how each platform can solve our clients' business needs.
  • Think independently, thrive in a fast-paced team environment, creatively problem-solve, and connect various thoughts, observations, and results to develop innovative solutions and new insights that drive an improved offering.
  • Operate in partnership with other teams. This role also requires the candidate to help build and deliver presentations that convey new ideas or complicated data to various audiences within the firm, including senior leadership.

Required :

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of financial services experience
  • 4+ years investment product / platform experience
  • 4+ on the investment advisory product landscape, specifically Mutual Funds, ETFs, and 529s

Core Competencies :

  • Developing negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external business partners leveraging strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver quality outcomes within short timeframes
  • Energy, enthusiasm, strong work ethic
  • Strong analytical skills with expert abilities in Excel. Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Deep understanding of mutual funds and exchange traded funds (ETFs)

Preferred :

  • FINRA Series 7 and 63
  • Experience working with legal teams and contracting processes
  • Previous experience in a Sponsor Relations / Strategic Partnership role is a plus

Pay Range :

$77,440-$116,160 / year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
