Job Title : Construction Superintendent
Location : Headquarters - Des Moines, IA. Projects throughout the state.

Overview : We are currently seeking a committed, full-time Construction Superintendent to join our team. This role is responsible for on-site management and successful execution of all phases of construction and technical aspects.
The Construction Superintendent regularly interacts with cients, company leadership, project architects, subcontractors, material suppliers, and other stakeholders.
This role is critical in ensuring the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Management : Oversee all phases of construction projects from initial planning to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Team Leadership : Lead, motivate, and manage construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring high morale, efficient workflows, and the meeting of project deadlines.
- Client Interaction : Maintain strong working relationships with owners and architects, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Subcontractor Coordination : Provide leadership and supervision of subcontractors and material suppliers, coordinating the execution of all work on the project.
- Equipment and Resource Management : Oversee and monitor equipment utilization, general conditions, and costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Quality Control : Monitor and ensure project quality, compliance with company policies and procedures, and adherence to safety requirements and reporting.
- Change Management : Ensure recognition and follow-through on change events and conditions, maintaining control over project scope and costs.
- Administrative Duties : Develop and update project schedules, read and understand project specifications and drawings, and perform project scheduling and cost control.
- Technology Use : Utilize software tools such as Word, Excel, MS Project, Bluebeam, ProCore, and Outlook for project management and communication.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Minimum (5) years of field experience managing mid to large-size commercial projects, with a successful track record in execution, financial management, safety, and owner satisfaction.
- Education : A Bachelor degree is required for this role. A construction-related degree is preferred, but not required.
