About The Position
Job Title : Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Specialty : Rehab Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Shift, 8-hour days Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 2 years of SLP experience preferred License : Valid, unrestricted state license required Certifications : CCC-certified SLP, CPR certification required Must-Have : - Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, guidelines pertaining to long-term care - Valid driver's license in the state of employment Job Description : Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities, and decrease aspirations.
- Create communication treatment plans that enhance the individual's ability to be understood and to understand others.- Lead, guide, and direct the delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate care and services to residents.- Collaborate effectively with a team to meet educational and therapeutic goals in a rehabilitation setting.
