We're looking for someone who can paint a picture to potential guests, corporate retreats, and groups about the exceptional location and amenities of Asheville River Cabins, and who has the grit to close the business.
Our Sales & Events Manager needs exceptional sales skills along with the creativity and drive to curate and support events on property.
You'll be in charge of developing a sales and revenue plan that includes soliciting new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets via outside sales calls / cold calls, on-site visits, sales tours, and community networking.
We have the best backyard in Asheville with 1,000 feet along the French Broad River, a barrel sauna, a Food Truck by our community firepit, and a River Lodge for events.
This energetic leader will be able to enhance revenue through OTAs, helping set and change rates as needed, and by researching local market trends and our competition.

Compensation : $60,000 plus commission on target compensation of $75,000 - $100,000
Compensation :
$75,000 - $100,000 OTE
Responsibilities :
- Represent property at appropriate travel industry trade shows and conferences while adhering to the guidelines of the marketing plan and budget
- Create and maintain connections with key group and catering accounts in order to keep and expand our market share
- Supports the creation of a topline and expense budget as well as the hotel's overall sales goals and strategy
- Increase new business and accelerate revenue generation by cold calling, on-site visits, and sales tours, as well as engaging your local community network
- Study and research local market trends and competitor activity to discover potential leads
- Build relationships with local venues in order to position ARC as preferred partner
- Develop relationships within the community and networking groups
- Responds timely to all assigned group / catering opportunities
- Maintains a well-documented, accurate and organized management system
- Achieves personal and team-related revenue goals
- Manage marketing budget and marketing vendor relationships to accomplish revenue goals
- Manage OTA relationships and rates
Qualifications :
- Budgeting, forecasting, and revenue strategy
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets
- Available to travel to approved vendor shows, travel agent shows, and networking events, as well as top accounts to represent and sell the property
- Revenue management - rate changes and promotions, weekly calls with Ownership
- 3-5 Years of sales experience
- Hotel and Events experience
