Who You Are

Global Supply Chain - Program Management -Subcontract Senior Staff

What You Will Be Doing

Leads teams overseeing subcontractors or critical subcontracted systems for all contract types and programs. Directs and manages all costs, quality, schedule, financial and technical performance requirements that are levied on the subcontractor or the product family and is required to ensure performance and support of the contract milestones of the system.

Develops sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program capture needs and execution.

Acts as the main focal point to the subcontractor and program management office. Responsible for and directs all phases of the subcontract from initiation of the business case for make or buy decisions through requests for proposals, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, cost accountability and program execution.

Makes decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor. Establishes milestone objectives and manages performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications.

Leads team normally composed of engineers, quality and procurement personnel.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college, or university
  • Supply chain management and value stream experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Root Cause Corrective Action analysis and Risk / Issue / Opportunity identification and documentation
  • Experience with developing and executing business strategies
  • Demonstrated Project Management skills

Desired Skills :

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership, executives, and high-ranking government officials
  • Business and technical acumen
  • Experience implementing or managing Supply Chain Risk Management requirements
  • Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and Department of Defense (DoD) programs
  • Experience in Change Management
  • Experience Defining and Using Metrics to Drive Performance

Ability to Work Remotely : Part-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
