About The Position
Job Title : Radiologic Technologist Job Specialty : CT Technologist, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound Technologist (General abdominal / obstetric small parts) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day and Night Shift - Rotating Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours / week Experience : Minimum years of experience not specified License : Required to be a licensed technologist by the State Radiologic Technologists Board Certifications : Registered technologist by the ARRT;
Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology accredited by the ARRT Must-Have : Competency in either Ultrasound or Mammography Job Description : Perform radiographic and CT procedures under the direction of the Radiologist and Department Director.
- Operate at a technical level that requires ingenuity and initiative, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
- Assume responsibility for designated areas and procedures.- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Maintain knowledge relative to the age of patients served.- Holiday coverage is required.- Use of the Meditech EMR system.
Applicants must be graduates of an accredited high school or hold an equivalent qualification. They must also have completed a program with an accredited School of Radiologic Technology recognized by the ARRT.
Successful candidates should be independent, responsible, and capable of using their skills and judgment to provide excellent diagnostic imaging care.
