We're looking for a Financial Services Principal Product Manager (Tech) who is ready to work in a rapidly changing industry and will help us develop products and innovate on behalf of the customer.

As PPM, you will engage with a cross-disciplinary team and ring-fenced tech team to conceive, design, and develop innovative automotive discovery & shopping experiences for our customers.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own the development of Leasing products for a car buying experience on Amazon.
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
  • Closely cooperate with our tech team on building the overall product roadmap, and manage prioritization and trade-offs against developer experience, customer experience, and time to market
  • Lead development of specifications and requirements for key components of new automotive discovery & shopping experiences
  • Write product documents and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business, design and development teams

A day in the life

In this role you will collaborate with the team to develop the product vision for a brand-new set of financial services experience on Amazon.

This role is inherently cross-functional - You will work closely with engineering, product management, design, operations, finance, legal, and business development to bring new products to our customers.

You will be expected to create certainty out of ambiguity while having a firm grasp over the operational, and financial aspects of your programs.

About the team

We are a newly formed team with a vision to create innovative automotive discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection.

We’re collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for cars online.

Basic Qualifications

Experience owning / driving roadmap strategy and definition

Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

Experience with end to end product delivery

Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders

Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Experience technical product management

Minimum of 2 years’ experience with financial products (lending / leasing / insurance) as a Product Manager.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Product Manager-Tech experience in Amazon.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
