Work you’ll do

As a ServiceNow developer you will be :

• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements.
• Working individually or as part of a team.
• Reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolving software problem reports.
• Utilizing software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Providing specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware / software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS) / Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

Qualifications

Required :

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years of professional experience in software engineering on projects with similar software processes.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Active TS / SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Preferred :

• 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow development.
• Experience analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Experience debugging existing software and correcting defects.
• Experience coding with programming languages and databases including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, JSON or other languages used in ServiceNow.
• Experience integrating third-party software and APIs with ServiceNow using REST and SOAP.
• Experience writing or reviewing software and system documentation.
• ServiceNow System Administrator certification or ServiceNow Application Developer certification.
• Knowledge of IOTM, ITSM, HRSD, CSM and / or Service Portal.
• Proven ability to effectively prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and working in a fast-paced team environment with enforced deadlines.
