Overview :
Virtus Healthcare Staffing is engaged in a search for a dedicated and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our partner, a respected general hospital in Geneva, NY.
This full-time role is based in their Operating Room and Surgery Center, offering a balanced work schedule with no on-call responsibilities and no obstetrics cases.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver anesthesia care to patients in the OR and Surgery Center, ensuring optimal safety and comfort during procedures.
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments, develop anesthesia plans, and administer anesthetic medications.
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, adjusting anesthesia as necessary based on the patient's physiological responses.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive perioperative care.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and standards of practice, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications :
- Current and unrestricted CRNA certification.
- Active Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse licenses in the state of New York.
- Proven experience in anesthesia care, preferably in a surgery center or OR setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and quality care.
