Role Description
As an Associate Attorney you will join a team of attorneys who are committed to providing compassionate and knowledgeable guidance to our clients.
You will be responsible for handling a caseload of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, and property division negotiations.
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and highly motivated to join us as we continue to serve clients throughout southeast Michigan.
This is a full-time role located in Bloomfield Hills, MI with flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission to State Bar of Michigan
- Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing family law in Michigan
- Strong knowledge of Michigan family law, court rules, and procedures
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle a caseload independently
- Candidate must be organized, detail-oriented and highly motivated
- Ability to work collaboratively and supportively in a team environment
- Experience with alternative dispute resolution is preferred
- Strong commitment to the ethical practice of family law
- Experience using legal practice management software and tools is a plus
