$150 to $160 per hour

About The Position

We are currently seeking a Board-Certified / Board Eligible IM / FM for Locum opportunity in Emporia, VA.

Start Date : As soon as credentialed!

Schedule : 3x 8 hour shifts weekly; 8 : 30a-5p Mon-Wed (preferred) but will work around provider availability

Compensation : $160 an hour

Position Overview :

  • Practice Setting : Primary Care practice with rotating specialties Schedule : 3 eight-hour shifts weekly Average Number of Patients Per Day : 20 Will Other Internal Medicine Physicians Provide Coverage During Locums Coverage Dates : Possibly virtually How Many Mid-Levels Provide Coverage : 0 Number of Exam Rooms : 6 Services Available On-Site : Laboratory, POC testing, Phlebotomy Documentation System / EMR : Epic Trauma Level / Designation : N / A

Emergency Supplies Available : Defibrillator, Airway Practice Population : Adult, Pediatric, Newborn, Geriatric

Required Medicine Procedures : Adult Outpatient, Without ICU / CCU Required Pediatric Procedures : Newborn Care (>

2000 gms), General Outpatient Required Gynecology Procedures : Pelvic Exam / Pap Smear, not required but helpful Required Surgical Procedures : Suturing of Minor Lacerations, I & D (Incision & Drainage) Required Psychiatric Procedures : Uncomplicated Adult, however BH provider on site Please List Any Additional Required Procedures : N / A
