Job Opportunity : School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location : Cranston, RI
Position : Full-Time School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
Overview : We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our school team. This role involves providing occupational therapy services, conducting assessments, and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students.
Experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are wele to apply.
Responsibilities :
- Perform prehensive occupational therapy evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' functional and educational needs.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to setting educational goals for students.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an OT.
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong munication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
