We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager. This role is pivotal to our operations, focusing on the successful execution of Workday within our organization.

The Project Manager will be tasked with leading complex projects, managing diverse teams, and ensuring a smooth transition from our parent company.

This role operates remotely and requires flexibility in scheduling to accommodate occasional calls with our EU counterparts.

Responsibilities :

  • Create and execute a comprehensive project plan for Workday implementation, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams across various departments such as R& D, Payroll, etc. and ensure everyone is aligned with project goals.
  • Communicate project updates, decisions, and roadblocks effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Maintain meticulous organization of the project, manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, and take superior notes.
  • Champion a proactive approach to ensure all necessary actions are in motion well before the go-live date and be prepared to adjust the timeline if necessary.
  • Comfortably and confidently communicate with diverse teams across various departments, even without a technical background.
  • Manage project intensity around holidays and submit your vacation schedule for consideration during the interview process.
  • Operate within core working hours of 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM PST with flexibility on days with early EU calls.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace tools.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile or Waterfall) is a plus.
  • Experience working in a remote environment is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in a relevant industry
  • Strong knowledge of Budget Processes and financial planning
  • Proficiency in Change Management and ability to guide teams through transformations
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to lead, motivate and manage teams effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in using various project management tools and software
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • PMP or other project management certification is desirable.
