Endeavor Health (formerly NorthShore University HealthSystem) is in search of registered nurses to join the team in Elmhurst, IL!
Location : 155 E Brush Hill Rd, Elmhurst, IL, 60126 (258 beds, Level I Trauma)
Unit : Emergency Room
Pay : Starting at $34.68 / hour and increases with experience
Shifts : 7p-7a, 36 hours / week
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with physicians for patient care.
Responsible for treating patients with serious illnesses, injuries, and other medical emergencies when they arrive at a hospital.
Includes taking vital signs, administering medications, performing EKGs and x-rays, assisting in surgeries, and dealing with emotional trauma.
Develop a patient care plan after evaluating injuries, setting bones, give blood transfusions or run tests to determine the medical needs of patients.
Must Haves :
- RN license in the state of Illinois
- BLS certification
- 1-year critical care experience (ICU, Step down or progressive care unit)
