Sunset Pediatrics is a primary care clinic dedicated to providing exceptional care and we are seeking a compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team.
This individual will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality medical care to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting and offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence.
- Perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications.
- Monitor and manage the health and development of pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on preventive healthcare practices and wellness.
- Maintain accurate and updated medical records using electronic health record systems.
- Stay current with advancements in pediatric medicine and best practices.
Experience :
- Completion of Masters Degree Program in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- Previous experience in pediatric care is strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to empathetically interact with pediatric patients and their families.
