Job Title : Travel Nurse - Telemetry
Location : Rochester, NY
Job Description : We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse with expertise in telemetry to join our team in Rochester, NY. This contract opportunity is perfect for nurses with a background in cardiac care and telemetry, providing a chance to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide specialized care for patients with cardiac conditions, including those post-PCI and on cardiac gtts like Tikosyn.
Monitor telemetry patients and respond to changes in their condition promptly.
Float to similar units as needed, and support ICU or ED with Med / Surg level patients or as helping hands.
Prepare and maintain accurate patient records using Epic software.
Requirements :
Minimum of 1 year of recent telemetry experience.
Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Ability to work the 7p-7a shift.
Flexibility to float between units and assist where needed.
Additional Information :
Full-time position, up to 36 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime if desired.
