Overview
The Jefferson Hotel is seeking a courteous, guest-focused Seasonal Service Attendant to join the TJ’s Restaurant team. This part-time evening position plays a vital role in ensuring exceptional service by supporting servers and maintaining the cleanliness & readiness of the dining area. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about hospitality in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Requirements
- Availability : Must be available to work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience : Prior experience in a full-service restaurant is preferred but not required.
- Skills : Strong attention to detail, a guest-first mindset, & the ability to take initiative and follow direction.
Basic Functions & Scope
Provide attentive support to servers and guests throughout service periods.Maintain the cleanliness & orderliness of the dining room and service stations.Assist in the smooth flow of service by anticipating guest and team needs.Duties & Responsibilities
Clear, reset, and sanitize tables efficiently between guests.Refill water glasses and assist with the delivery of food, beverages, and service items.Keep the dining room, side stations, and service areas clean & organized at all times.Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service.Follow all health, safety, and food handling protocols.Perform assigned side work and closing duties to support overall restaurant operations.Assist guests with requests and ensure a warm, welcoming experience.Qualifications
A professional appearance and demeanor.Warm, personable approach and a genuine passion for hospitality.A positive attitude and strong work ethic.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights for extended periods.Must be punctual, dependable, and capable of working in a team environment.Willingness to learn and take pride in maintaining a polished, well-run dining room.
